Bannertown seniors to meet on July 31

MAYFIELD — The Bannertown 50 Plus Seniors met on July 3, for a social hour, luncheon and meeting.

Chaplain Evie Leach opened the day reading the devotion, “God cares and loves us.” “The Lord’s Prayer” followed.

After the Office for the Aging luncheon, President Carl Edwards opened the meeting with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Nancy Hayes, vice president, read the roll call.

Ann Mallin, sunshine chairman, had nothing to report.

Lorrie Valk, secretary, and Joan Bezio, treasurer, gave their reports and were accepted.

The scheduled meeting for Wednesday is canceled because of the picnic with the Lassellsville Seniors at the Glen Harris pavilion, Caroga Lake. Bring a covered dish and drinks. Lunch will be served at noon. Come early for the day.
