Easter party is slated for April 23

GLOVERSVILLE — The Ida L. McGinnis Club meeting Tuesday, was called to order by President Jeannie McDuffie. The opening hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” was accompanied by Helen Henry on the keyboard.

The devotions and “The Lord’s Prayer” were led by Chaplain Mary King.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by McDuffie. The first verse of America was sung.

Hello to Neighbors followed. There were 32 in attendance.

The reports of the secretary and treasurer were accepted as read.

The 50-50 winners were Roy Bishop, Kay VanAlstyne, Henry and Millie Garguilo.

On April 23, the March and April birthdays will be celebrated, as well as an Easter party.

On April 30, the senior group will be going to Applebees.

The closing hymn was “May the Good Lord Bless and Keep You.”

The meeting adjourned.
