Mary Ann B. Kool Leesburg, FL - Mary Ann B. Kool, of Leesburg Florida, passed away on March 11, 2024 at the age of 80.
She was born in Torrington, CT on December 17, 1943 a daughter of the late George and Victoria O'Brien.
She resided in California and NY and was a 1961 graduate of Venice High School in California.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, knitting and upholstery work. Even in her retirement years she never slowed down and made many friends in her travels between Florida and New York. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her family.
Mary Ann is survived by her four beloved children, Jim (Kathy) Beatty of Manassas, VA, Scott (Cindy) Beatty of Ballston Lake, NY, Pam (Paul Gerspach) Fitzgerald of Lewiston, NY and Rebecca (Scott Livingston) Beatty of Mendon, NY; five grandchildren, Brandon Beatty, Jillian Beatty, Kelsey Jones, Tyler Jones and Dillon Fitzgerald. Sisters and brother, Gracie O'Brien Britton, Janie O'Brien and George O'Brien Jr. Her companion Ray Trombley of 23 years. Plus many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Mary Ann was predeceased by brothers, Harry O'Brien and Louie Perlak and sister, Marie O'Brien Lombrano-Duran.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Rose & Hughes Funeral Home, 200 Church St., Amsterdam, NY. Funeral services will commence at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Cynthia Leonard presiding. Interment of Cremated Remains will follow in Galway Cemetery, Galway, NY.
