PTECH students host cancer awareness fair for public at St. Mary’s Healthcare

AMSTERDAM — Freshmen in the Hamilton Fulton Montgomery Pathways in Technology Early College High School (PTECH) program hosted the fourth annual Cancer Awareness Fair on Thursday in the cafeteria at St. Mary’s Healthcare, 427 Guy Park Ave.

At the event, PTECH freshmen spoke with visitors at their booths with information from their research on various forms of cancer.

The event also included a basket raffle and bake sale that raised money for the Cancer Services Program of Fulton, Montgomery and Schenectady Counties.
