Golf tournament slated for Saturday

JOHNSTOWN — Johnstown High School/Knox Junior High School Parent Teacher Student Association will host its second annual golf tournament Saturday at 9 a.m. at Fox Run Golf Club.

The tournament will be sponsored by Miracle Ear and Dan’s Excavation.

All proceeds will benefit the Johnstown High School/Knox Junior High School PTSA.

The tournament will be an 18-hole, four-person scramble for players ages 14 and older.

This annual event is the biggest fundraiser for the JHS/Knox PTA during the year.

The entry fee will be $85 per person, which includes greens fees and cart, gift for each golfer, food at the turn and a luncheon after.

Participants will have the opportunity to win a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, courtesy of Mangino Chevrolet, with a hole-in-one on the third hole or a 2017 Toyota RAV 4, courtesy of Steet Toyota, with a hole-in-one on the 11th hole.
