Free tennis clinic set in Gloversville

GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville Recreation Commission is sponsoring community tennis clinics for children ages 8-and-older.

The clinics will take place from 11 a.m. to noon at the Darling Field tennis courts Tuesday, as well as Aug. 8 and 15.

All are welcome and no experience is necessary.

Anyone wishing to participate should wear sneakers and bring a tennis racquet. Balls and extra racquets will be provided.

Players are reminded to bring water.

The clinics are sponsored by the Gloversville Recreation Commission.

The clinic is free of charge and instruction will be coordinated by area tennis players Carol Schery and Ellen Wood.
