Northville routs Middleburgh

JOHNSTOWN — T.J. Wadsworth finished with 21 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Northville to a 62-37 victory over Middleburgh in a Western Athletic Conference boys basketball crossover contest Saturday at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Saturday.

The Falcons outscored the Knights 31-17 in the second half to earn the win.

Nate Reidell had 17 points for Northville (9-11 overall), while Jason Ellsworth added 14 points.

Taylor Olsen scored 10 points to lead Middleburgh.

Northville now awaits the pairings for the Section II Class D Tournament, which will be announced Wednesday.

JOHNSTOWN — Danny Kilmartin scored 18 points to lead Fort Plain to a Western Athletic Conference crossover victory over Galway at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.

The Hilltoppers outscored the Golden Eagles 12-7 in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.

Troy Butler had 17 points for Fort Plain (9-9 overall), while Jaxson Yacowenia added 13 points.

Mike Sowle scored 16 points to lead Galway (5-15 overall), while Carter Scribner added nine points.

JOHNSTOWN — Berne-Knox-Westerlo rebounded from being outscored by Duanesburg 15-7 in the opening quarter, to shut out the Eagles 15-0 in the second quarter and pull away for the Western Athletic Conference crossover victory at Fulton-Montgomery Community College.

BKW’s Zeke Pulliam led all scorers with 19 points, including four 3-pointers, while Ryan Germani finished with 10 points.

Lenahan Gamache paced Duanesburg with nine points, while Matt Coons and Jacob Stahl finished with eight points apiece.
