BROADALBIN — Andrew Giaimo hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift Amsterdam to a 46-44 victory over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council boys basketball game Tuesday.

Caydren Graveley and Kevin Perez each had 10 points for the Rams, while Damian Colon and Jeffrey Brennan each had eight points.

Dante Calderone scored a game-high 23 points for the Patriots, while Glenn Buyce added 10 points.

Amsterdam (1-1 overall, 1-1 Foothills) is scheduled to travel to Johnstown on Friday for a 7 p.m. game.

Broadalbin-Perth (0-2 overall, 0-2 Foothills) is scheduled to travel to South Glens Falls on Friday for a 7:30 p.m. contest.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS — The Sir Bills blew the game open with a 22-point third quarter and outscored South High 41-20 in the second half to give coach Philip Satterlee his first career varsity coaching win.

Matthew Boyle led Johnstown (1-2, 1-1) with 26 points, including five 3-pointers. Anthony Frasier finished with 11 points for the Sir Bills and Ethan Wager had 10.

Cam Woodard led South Glens Falls (0-3, 0-2) with 12 points, while Jon Maniacek added 11 points and Kevin Amberger and Connor Bovair had 10 points apiece.

Johnstown is scheduled to host Amsterdam on Friday at 7 p.m.
