Johnstown golfers defeat Gloversville, 172-185

JOHNSTOWN — Ethan Wager carded a 37 to lead Johnstown to a 172-185 victory over Gloversville in a Foothills Council golf match at Fox Run Golf Club on Tuesday.

Colin Kowalski posted a 42 for the Sir Bills, while Conner Diviyak had a 47. Will Gerlach added a 47 for Johnstown.

Nick Vincent led Gloversville with a round of 41. Vincent had an eagle on the par-4 second hole.

Aiden Carter finished with a 45 for the Huskies, while Cole Raczynski had a 48. Matt Butkevitch added a 51 for Gloversville.

SCHENECTADY — Justin O’Neil carded a 40 to lead Scotia-Glenville to a Foothills Council victory over Broadalbin-Perth at Stadium Golf Club.

Tyler Cannoe and Addison Schaub each had rounds of 42 for the Tartans, while Tom Omicinski added a 43.

Stuart Bond led Broadalbin-Perth with a 41, Mike Piska carded a 43 and Matt Danise had a 44. Connor Canale added a 45 for the Patriots, who slipped to 5-1 overall and 4-1 in Foothills Council play.
