GHS cross country loses to Scotia

GLENVILLE — The Scotia-Glenville boys and girls cross country teams both recorded victories over Gloversville in a Foothills Council meet at Indian Meadows Park on Tuesday.

Gloversville’s Daley Jo Christman won the 2.86-mile girls race with a time of 18:35. Scotia-Glenville Delaney Krogh (18:42) was second, Gloversville’s Rhea Winter (20:40) was third, Scotia-Glenville’s Olivia Wheeler (21:27) was fourth and Scotia-Glenville’s Maddie Durant (21:29) was fifth.

Josie Christman (22:33) posted a seventh-place finish for Gloversville.

In the boys race, Scotia-Glenville claimed the top three spots with Kyle Ostrander (15:31) first, Gabe Winters-Bona (15:33) second and Noah Greski (15:43) third.

Gloversville’s Skyler Reed was fourth with a time of 15:57, while Scotia-Glenville’s Ryan Bruce (16:21) was fifth.

Gloversville’s Dylan Phillips was 10th with a time of 17:59
