AHS girls tennis loses to Scotia, 7-0

SCOTIA — Scotia Glenville won all five singles matches and both doubles contests on its way to a 7-0 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council girls tennis match Friday.

Sophia Schaub, Natalie Bean, Cassie Rumfelt, Charlotte Tvelia and Cassie Cenzano all won singles matches for the Tartans.

Jordan Ladouceur and Julia Carroll won at first doubles for Scotia-Glenville (4-0 overall, 3-0 Foothills), while Sara King and Quynh Duong won at second doubles.

Amsterdam (0-4 overall, 0-3 Foothills) is scheduled to host South Glens Falls on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
