Liberty Foundation hosts annual tournament
FORT JOHNSON – The Liberty Foundation hosted its 24th annual golf tournament June 7 at Rolling Hills Country Club.
Golfers were there to support Liberty Foundation and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who benefit from programs funded by Liberty ARC.

In the low net category, the team of Barney Wemple, Mike Fagan, Tim Barker and Lonn Hatcher won with a score of 55.1.
Second place went to the team of Larry Jordan, Tony Mitola, Anthony Gizzo and Steve Mitola with a score of 55.4. Third-place honors went to the team of Jim Izzano, Ben Ziskin, Gary Leva and Stan Wilock with a 55.7.
In the low gross category, the team of Steve Brown, Joe Rajczak, Ron Limoncelli and Jeff Coon won with a score of 60 by virtue of matching cards.
The second-place team of Tim Gardinier, Mike Young, Ken Reksc and Mark Sisson also posted a 60, while the third-place team of Steve Marsh, Tom Friello, Jim Mylott and James Mraz finished with a 64. The team of Brian Showers, Brian Rapplyea, John Brandt and Pete Naples was fourth with a 65.
Bill Moore and Jessica Ford were the men’s and women’s long drive winners, respectively.
Joe Ratjczak was closest to the pin on the second hole at 5-8 1/2.
The team of Brian Showers, Brian Rapplyea, John Brandt and Pete Naples was closest to the sixth hole at 15-8.
James Mraz won the closest to the pin competition on the 14th hole at 4-4.
John Scuito was the winner of the men’s closest to the line competition, while no winner was reported for the women’s closest to the line event.
