JOHNSTOWN — Scotia-Glenville scored six runs in both the top of the fifth and sixth innings on its way to a 15-2 victory over Johnstown in a Foothills Council baseball game at Johnstown High School.

Chris Aldi had a single, double and two stolen bases for the Tartans.

Andrew LeMorta had five strikeouts in five innings to earn the win for Scotia-Glenville (9-3 Foothills).

Johnstown slipped to 3-15 overall and 0-13 in Foothills Council play with the loss.

GLOVERSVILLE — Aaron Dona and Anthony Russell-Tomek combined on a four-hitter to lead Gloversville to a Foothills Council victory over South Glens Falls at Husky Field.

Dona struck out 10, allowed four hits and walked two in 6 2/3 innings, while Russell-Tomek struck out the only batter he faced.

Brodrick Royal was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Gloversville (9-10 overall, 6-6 Foothills), while Brandon Becker had a single and two RBIs. Russell-Tomek had a single and an RBI for the Huskies, while Julien Deumaga, Kyle Lanphere and Nate Thompson all had singles.

Alex Smith and Trevor Corlew each had a single and an RBI for South Glens Falls, while Dylan Schrammel and Connor Bovair each had singles.

Josh Scheuer singled and doubled for the Indians (6-9 overall, 4-6 WAC), while Mitch Barton had two singles and two RBIs.

Tyler Leon and Mason Snell each had doubles for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville, while Dylan Corapi and Von Baker each had singles.

Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville is scheduled to host Canajoharie today in a non-league contest.
