AHS boys lacrosse loses to Scotia, 11-5

SCOTIA — Zack Wilson scored five goals to lead Scotia-Glenville to an 11-5 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council boys lacrosse contest Tuesday.

James Almond had three goals and an assist for the Tartans, while Jackson Spikereit had a goal and two assists. Matt Williams finished with a goal and an assist for Scotia-Glenville, and Incenzio Davis also scored.

Paul Burns recorded three assists for the Tartans.

Aaron Rackowski finished with three goals for Amsterdam (2-13 overall, 0-10 Foothills), while Anthony Barone-Lopez and Serge Desbiens also scored. Jose Padilla had two assists for the Rams, while Jose Merced had one assist.

Soren Silar made nine saves for Scotia-Glenville, while Matt Johnson made six stops for Amsterdam
