McCoy playing for King’s College

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. — Johnstown graduate Kendra McCoy, a senior on the King’s College women’s lacrosse team, had a career-high five goals and two assists in a 24-7 victory over Gwynedd Mercy University in the season-opener for both teams in Gwynedd Valley on Wednesday.

Nine different players scored for the Monarchs who recorded the second-most, first-game goals in program history. The 24 goals and 34 points were each the fourth most in a single game in program history.

McCoy also had a goal and an assist in a 12-10 victory over SUNY Potsdam on Saturday.

King’s (2-0 overall) will host Moravian on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
