Sir Bills split match with South High

SOUTH GLENS FALLS — The Johnstown Sir Bills and South Glens Falls Bulldogs split their Foothills Council bowling match Thursday at Kingpin’s Alley.

The Sir Bills won the second game 1,332-1,159 and total pins 3,720-3,715 for their points, while South High won the opening game 1,292-1,144 and the third game 1,264-1,244 to earn the split.

The Bulldogs’ Jarrett Morris rolled the high triple of the day with his 235-683 performance, while Jack Comar rolled a 236-669 and Will Bickford added a 257-608.

Ethan Hadcock led Johnstown with his 248-674 effort, while Andy Sitterly rolled a 222-659. Garrett Way rolled a 226-616, while Mick Winton turned in a 215-606 effort and Hunter Meher finished with a 235-585.

Fonda-Fultonville 1

AMSTERDAM — Adam Colby and Tyler Cramer led the Mayfield boys to a 3-1 victory over Fonda-Fultonville Thursday at Imperial Lanes.

The Panthers won the match with 2,400-2,318 total pin fall on game scores of 750-838, 893-769 and 757-711.

Colby recorded a match-high 212-585 series, while Cramer turned in a 217-571 triple.

Micaiah Roche led Fonda-Fultonville with his 216-517 and Connor Barnes finished with a 169-494 triple.

Fort Plain 4,

Oppenheim-Ephratah/ St. Johnsville 0

CANAJOHARIE — Brady Fureno rolled a 234-585 triple to lead the Fort Plain Hilltoppers to a sweep over OESJ by a total pin fall of 2,695-2,163 in Western Athletic Conference action Thursday at Iroquois Lanes.

Anthony Paradiso finished with a 193-550 for Fort Plain, while Zack Young rolled a 191-539 and Jacob Hazlett added a 186-535.

Keagan Clemons led the way for the Wolfpack with his 178-470 triple, while Braden Fredericks added a 171-463.


Fonda-Fultonville 4, Mayfield 0

AMSTERDAM — The Lady Braves got a 151-383 effort from Crystal Coleman and a 145-373 from Aubrey Krohn in their sweep of Mayfield Thursday at Imperial Lanes.

Fonda-Fultonville won on game scores of 498-476, 508-480 and 509-504 and total pin fall 1,515-1,460.

Megan Dion led Fonda-Fultonville with her 128-349 triple, while Danielle Skielle added a 109-306.

Oppenheim-Ephratah/ St. Johnsville 0

Rachel Zuppardi rolled a 178-444 triple and Gabriella Jenks added a 160-405 series to lead Fort Plain to a 1,788-1,343 total victory over OESJ.

Hanna Ouderkirk led the Lady Wolves with her 133-333 effort, while Shara Carl chipped in with a 108-300 series.
