Monroe leads Patriots past Sir Bills

BROADALBIN — Troy Monroe delivered a 28-point performance for Broadalbin-Perth to lead the Patriots to a 78-41 victory over Johnstown in Foothills Council boys basketball action Tuesday night at Broadalbin-Perth High School.

Monroe hit four 3-pointers in his game-high effort, while Dante Calderone was a perfect 5-for-5 from the free-throw line in his 17-point effort. Lucas Coon joined them in double-digits with his 13-point effort.

Ethan Wager led nine Johnstown players who put points in the book with eight points, while Trevor Porter finished with seven and Adam Wilson, Josh Hoyt and Keegan Feinour had six points apiece.

SCHUYLERVILLE — Dante Bouchard had a game-high 31 points for Gloversville, but it was not enough to lift the Dragons past Schuylerville Tuesday night at Schuylerville High School.

Bouchard had seven 3-pointers and was 8-for-9 from the free-throw line in her effort. Julien Deumaga chipped in with 13 points, while Joey Rowback had five and Anderson Jones rounded out the Gloversville scoring with two.

Nicholas Budesheim paced the Black Horses with 19 points, while Stratton Sherman had 11 and Carson Dunkel finished with nine.

Tariq Minix paced the Tigers with his 11-point effort, while Riley Maddison had a pair of 3-pointers in his 10-point effort and Alex Varney chipped in with eight points.
