B-P players earn all-state volleyball honors

Two Broadalbin-Perth players were among those named to the New York State volleyball all-star team.

Cassy Bown was named fourth-team all-state in Class B, while Eliana Fraser was named to the fifth team.

Hudson Falls had Reagan Collier-Hogan named to the first team in Class B, while Kierra McCarthy was named to the second team.

In Class AA, Shenendehowa had Nicole Adams and Charlotte Macken named to the first team, while Hannah Feit was named to the second team. Ballston Spa’s Madison Amico (sixth team) also earned all-state honors.

In Class A, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake had Myla Dobson named to the first team and Hannah Shell named to the second team.

South Glens Falls’ MacKenzie Collier (third team) and Queensbury’s Isabella Carusone also earned all-state honors in Class A.

Voorheesville had three players named to the all-state team in Class B. Emily Bablin (first team), Katy Bablin (second team) and Victoria Konicki (third team) were honored for the Blackbirds.

Also earning all-state honors in Class C were Lake George’s Abby Baertschi (fourth team), Lake George’s Alysia Kane (fifth team) and Saratoga Catholic’s Grace Fornabia.

In Class D, Argyle had Danielle Sill (first team), Autumn Aubrey (second team) and Jessie Wilson (third team) earn all-state honors.

Also earning all-state honors in Class D were Mekeel Christian Academy’s Mackenzie Islip (fourth team) and Duanesburg’s Olivia Dykstra (fifth team).
