H.S. Bowling Roundup: Amsterdam sweeps Scotia-Glenville, 4-0

SCHENECTADY — All six starters finished with series of 600 or better as Amsterdam rolled to a 4-0 victory over Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council bowling match at Boulevard Bowl on Friday.

Jon Schultz led the Rams with a 245-698, Nic Carbone had a 244-681 and Fred Pinto posted a 256-643. Nate Grant rolled a 230-637 for Amsterdam, Jake Preville recorded a 215-609 and Michaela Kelly added a 214-605.

Austin Zullo led Scotia-Glenville with a 243-665, while Jacob McKenzie had a 219-593. Jacy Roman added a 204-577 for the Tartans.

Amsterdam finished with a 3,873-3,499 advantage in total pins.


Middleburgh 3, Fort Plain 1

MIDDLEBURGH — Kevin Guest finished with a 224-649 to lead Middleburgh to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Fort Plain at Middleburgh Lanes on Friday.

Tyler Mann had a 245-632 for the Knights, while Donovan Mann added a 214-615.

Brady Fureno led Fort Plain with a 278-629, while Jacob Hazlett had a 215-565. Zack Young added a 203-564 for the Hilltoppers.

Middleburgh finished with a 3,011-2,815 advantage in total pins.

MIDDLEBURGH — Carolyne Shultes rolled a 230-586 to lead Middleburgh to a WAC victory over Fort Plain at Middleburgh Lanes on Friday.

Jaidyn Rose posted a 195-501 for the Knights, who finished with a 2,289-1,786 advantage in total pins.

Gabriella Jenks had a 180-501 to lead Fort Plain, while Rachel Zuppardi added a 160-411.
