GHS grad Dukes scores 16 for Sage

ALBANY — The Sage Colleges’ men’s basketball team hosted the Mountaineers of Southern Vermont College on Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup in Kahl Gym. The Mountaineers posted an 88-74 win over Sage to remain unbeaten at 6-0, while Sage dropped to 3-3.

For Sage, which held a commanding edge on the boards with 51 rebounds to SVC’s 35 rebounds, senior forward Barceem Dukes, a Gloversville graduate, added a double-double off the bench with 16 points and 10 rebounds. He had eight offensive boards and shot an impressive 8-13 from the floor for Sage.

Sage is back in action on Thursday, hosting Bard College in Kahl Gym at 7:30 p.m.
