FMCC men defeat Finger Lakes, 91-86

CANANDAIGUA — In its final game of the first semester, the Fulton-Montgomery Community College men’s basketball team posted a 91-86 victory over Finger Lakes Community College in a Region 3 contest Sunday. It was the Raiders’ sixth straight win.

Dante Morgan scored 20 points to lead FMCC (6-2 overall), while Brandon Cooper had 18 points and five rebounds. Jaleel Jean Jacques had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Raiders, who led 43-37 at the half.

Keon Dunbar scored a game-high 26 points to lead Finger Lakes (6-6 overall), while Shane Fanning finished with 23 points. Enrique Mosman and Elijah Idlett each had 14 points for the Lakers. Idlett also grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds for Finger Lakes.

FMCC will return to action on Jan. 9 when it is slated to host Cayuga at 7 p.m.
