Dolgeville indoor track competes
HAMILTON — The Dolgeville boys and girls indoor track and field teams competed at the Mohawk Valley Team Relays on Tuesday at Colgate University.
Clinton won the boys team title with 88 points. Rome Free Academy was second with 73 points and Utica Proctor was third with 55 points. Dolgeville was 12th with 15 points.
In the weight throw relay, Dolgeville was second as Dillon Lyon had a throw of 46-8 3/4 and Daniel Lamphere had a throw of 37-2.
Dolgeville’s team of Nic Bailey and Lamphere was third in the shot put relay. Lamphere had a throw of 37-1, while Bailey had a throw of 34-7 1/2.
Chyle Grossman was ninth in the triple jump with a leap of 34-7 1/4.
In the girls meet, Rome Free Academy won the team title with 84.5 points, while Clinton was second with 84 points. Cazenovia was third with 73 points. Dolgeville placed 14th with 8.5 points.
MJ Dellabarca-Barnes and Gabby Kluge combined to place sixth in the shot put relay.
Dellabarca-Barnes had a throw of 25-8 1/4 and Kluge had a throw of 24-11.
Dellabarca-Barnes and Kluge combined to place fourth in the weight throw relay. Dellabarca-Barnes had a throw of 32-8 1/4 and Kluge had a throw of 24-7.
Dolgeville’s Nicole Congdon and Kyla Jaquay were sixth in the 55-meter relay. Congdon posted a time of 8.65 seconds and Jaquay had a time of 8.65 seconds.
