H.S. Golf Roundup: B-P defeats Amsterdam, 153-167

VAIL MILLS — Dom Zippiere and Matt Danise each finished with rounds of 35 to lift Broadalbin-Perth to a 153-167 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council golf match at Holland Meadows Golf Course on Friday.

Stuart Bond carded a 38 for the Patriots (10-4 overall, 8-4 Foothills), while Brandon Miller added a 45.

Erin Rivera and C.J. Durinick each had rounds of 39 to lead Amsterdam, while Mike Hughes posted a 44. Stephen Knack added a 45 for the Rams.

Scotia-Glenville 163, Gloversville 171

SCHENECTADY — Tom Omicinski finished with a 40 to lead Scotia-Glenville to a Foothills Council victory over Gloversville in a Foothills Council match at Stadium Golf Club on Thursday.

Justin O’Neil, Kelley Mayette and Tyler Cannoe all had rounds of 41 for the Tartans.

Nick Vincent led Gloversville with a 39, while Dante Bouchard posted a 43.

Lane Daley had a 44 for the Huskies and Matt Butkevitch added a 45.


Duanesburg 11, Galway 4

GALWAY — Tom Cassale finished with a 40 to lead Duanesburg to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Galway on Friday at Pioneer Hills Golf Course.

Dylan Carson carded a 45 for Duanesburg, while John Grant posted a 47. Matt Coons and Cormac Marz each had rounds of 48 for Duanesburg, and Aiden Parslow added a 62.

Ryan Lovelass posted a 37 to lead Galway, while Nick Zuk posted a 43. Josh Lovelass had a 46 for Galway, Matt Smith finished with a 57 and Jon Fajans had a 66. Jadon Flinton added a 78 for Galway.

Schoharie 12, Northville-Mayfield 3

NORTHVILLE — Shane Helmstadt finished with a 47 to lead Schoharie to a WAC victory over Northville-Mayfield at Sacandaga Golf Club on Wednesday.

Louis Hardendorf posted a 50 for the Indians, John Polley posted a 53 and Blake Smart carded a 59. Ethan Vanderwerken had a 60 for Schoharie and Seth Wacker added a 63.

Gavin Bown posted a 53 to lead Northville-Mayfield, while James DeRonda posted a 55. Cameron Abdella posted a 58 for Northville-Mayfield, Mackenzie Cramer carded a 60, George Abdella had a 61 and Owen Mormile added a 64.
