Mohawks pick up win over Glens Falls
AMSTERDAM — Eric Rivera was 3-for-4 with two runs scored to lead Amsterdam to a 9-5 victory over Glens Falls in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game Saturday at Shuttleworth Park.
Dylan Reynolds was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored for the Mohawks, while Danny Coleman had a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Julian Gallup, Liam Wilson and Brendan Coffey all had two hits for Amsterdam.
Thomas Lane earned the win on the mound for the Mohawks, allowing two hits, walking three and striking out nine in five innings of work.
Anthony Vaglica had a double and an RBI for Glens Falls, while Matt Hamel had a single and an RBI.
Amsterdam (2-1 overall) is scheduled to host Saugerties on Monday at 6:35 p.m.
Glens Falls (1-2 overall) is scheduled to travel to Albany today for a 5:05 p.m. game at Siena College.
