AHS swimmers lose to Glens Falls

AMSTERDAM — Glens Falls won six of 11 events on its way to a 99-41 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council boys swim meet at Lynch Literacy Academy on Tuesday.

Sean Ash won the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke for the Indians, while Matt Patent won the 100-yard backstroke.

Glens Falls also won the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays.

Thomas Knack (100 freestyle, 200 freestyle) and John Sawitzki (500 freestyle, 100 butterfly) each won two events for Amsterdam.

A.J. Mercado won the 50 freestyle for the Rams.
