FMCC student-athletes honored for academic success

JOHNSTOWN – The Raiders’ 3.0 Club was honored at a luncheon in Raiders Cove on March 10.

The luncheon recognized the FMCC student-athletes who earned a 3.0 or better grade point average during the fall semester.

Chris Rogers who is FMCC’s Coordinator for Student-Athlete Academic Success, reported that 26 athletes qualified for the 3.0 club.

Rogers addressed the group for their success both on and off the playing field and reiterating that academic success is their primary purpose as FMCC student-athletes.

From the baseball team, Kyle Agresta, Zach Hughes, Ryan McNamara, Ray Osterhout and Justin Putnam were honored

Men’s Basketball: Tremaine Elder, Dylan O’Connor and Austin Riska from the men’s basketball team also were honored along with Wolfie Reinke, Spencer Satterlee, Javier Suarez, David Vandenabeele and Riley Yager from the men’s soccer team.

From the softball team, Ashley Garcia, Breanna Mattice, Kathleen Phillips, Katherine Hauser and Chantel Vactor were honored.

Jordyn Hale, Brittany Orminski, Emily Orminski, Jenna Putnam and Kaylee Robinson of the women’s volleyball team were honored, along with Abby Boyer, Torri Richard, and Rylie Smith of the women’s basketball team.
