Adkman, you do know,of course, that Historically a 'Palestinian' people never existed. The Roman Emperor Hadrian named the Country of Israel 'Palestine' in 135AD. Over the centuries it has become common usage. Most of todays Palestinians are of Syrian ancestors. Yassar Arafat, their former leader was Egyptian. Any old map you may offer showing a 'Palestine' was drawn by Arab muslims and do not show no indication of the State of Israel. Palestine is now a term used by those who want to deny the legitimate existence Of Israel as a genuine Nation among the Family of Nations. So it looks like you and many others got sucked in by not only an ancient Roman tactic, but a modern Arab tactic as well.

It is time for them all to learn to coexist. There is no reason whatsoever to waste any further generations. How long do YOU think that this intolerable hatred continue? How many more people need to be killed? There simply has to be a solution.

This is one of those problems that will never go away.

Israel was created by the UN in 1947. They simply took land and property from Palestinians, displacing 700,000 of them to become refugees. They were not compensated. The Arab world, of course, retaliated, and Israel (as usual) kicked butt, several times over. Each time, Israel occupied more and more Palestian land, creating more refugees.

The Palestinians are basically living under martial law. They're angry. Can you blame them?

If the UN didn't create Israel back in 1947, we wouldn't have this problem.

I saw that TOT. Time to turn all that sand into glass, or at least make some big holes in it. Those rag heads will not stop until there are no Israelis left on the planet. But our dumbazz leadership wants to negotiate peace.

Go ahead close your doors and turn your backs. They will come to you. As you sit and ignore the world it will not promote love peace and tranquility. It is like a cancer it will fester and grow, it will spread throughout the world and it will kill you. Look at our Iraq policy,,, the president stated that the war there was done our work finished, wrong once again! We will have to continue to go back, continue to fight or be overwhelmed by the cancer that we chose to turn our backs on.

Calculating "leaders" looking for power by associating themselves with regimes threatening the U.S., and using brainwashed citizens as their conduit to these ends deserve no mercy. Send them back to the Stone Age - (which they're not far from).

Why would Israel or any of the other countries that we send aid to want to regift our money? If they had the resources to pay their own way they would not need our aid. Here in the liberal USA we can simply print and spend our way through anything. That is one thing that Obama has successfully done... ask your great grand babies!

Hamas' charter calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and its replacement with a Palestinian Islamic state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and it never has and never will stop despite talks-treaties-promises-threats. Israel and the rest of the world is dealing with the cult of islam who have declared war on everybody, even themselves. The right approach? See Annarondac's post. It's the ONLY way, face cannot reason with or have any meaningful dialog with death-cult fanatics who use their men, women and children as bombs and are proud of it.

Well Hill, I can't totally disagree with you. If Netanyahu says "We got this", then we should step back and let them fight their own battles. They have a right to defend themselves.

We sent $3.1 billion to Israel in foreign aid last year. When natural disaster strikes the US how much aid does Israel send? If you want a friend you start by being a friend. Netanyahu said Israel is capable of taking care of itself. Let's see how that plays out.

They are doing the best that they can with the press against them every single step. Obama even condemned them, leaving our friends out on the limb. If I were in Israel I too would want to bring this situation under total control once and for all.

No. They should bomb the crap out of Gaza, annihilate the enemy. That's how wars are won.
