Why not Obama has lost all the ground that was won in Iraq why should we expect anything different from him now? The liar in chief has got to go!

I like that too Bob! Afghan's Karzai can go it alone. TOT, I'm betting your absurd comment has even your few supporters shaking their heads. It was the Iraq war based on lies that made us lose ground in Afghanistan. Yes, the lies were a Bush/Cheney/Rummy concoction, but the blame also lies with a group of gutless Dems who went along with it. Your comment generates bi-partisan ridicule.

When we withdraw from our posts throughout the world, the last remaining allies will be left unprotected. What then will be their reason for loving the withdrawn USA that has abandoned them in this there greatest hour of need? Look at the presidents handling of the current conflicts, Syria... just cross the red line, Ukraine "Russia has to remain out of this civil war or there will be consequences" yeah right. What does a powerless leader back up his words with? Yup more words that will fail as well. If you drop your stick and turn your back, you will be attacked swiftly and defeated completely! Just exactly what this regime is working towards.

Laker, there is plenty of blame to go around. Go back to 1979..Carter allowed Shah Pahlavi (The Shah of Iran) to be overthrown...American hostages, the rest is History. They hated us then as much as now. Even before that practically every Admin has backed the wrong dictator for what they also thought were the right reasons. Americans do not need to be anywhere in that region at all and let's face it, they do not come to America to assimilate. Meanwhile, we are treated everyday to the fact that in our absence they happily slaughter each other. So let them.

Can turning a blind eye to human oppression, brutality, and a total lack of human dignity ever be justified? Putting our selfish interest ahead of everything is the reason they hate us, and no amount of payola will change that. Don't even think about Ukraine; let the east go to Russia and the west crap for themselves.

Hill, go ask that question to one of the throwbacks who still live in 7th. Century. You know, the ones who hate us because we wont say allah akbar or something. We don't have anything do do with that shiite, they're the ones with an evolutionary problem. You can throw yourself on your sword for the sake of compassion or some other misguided sense of responsibility, I'll watch.

Hill, not our problem. If you don't like the lifestyle there then don't go. Hey, here's an idea - let's send the LBGTQBX rainbow warriors over so they can tell them how everybody should just love everybody else and be happy -- that should thin the herd some

The sum and substance of our action in Afghanistan should have been to totally obliterate Al-qaida headquarters there, make it uninhabitable, and then get the h**l out!!

Totally agree Patriot...we could have rid Afghan of the Taliban and Al Qaeda, and then got out... but then came the Iraq fiasco!

the big problem is that the US military has not fought an enemy with the clear vision of victory since WW II. Since then politics has always played a part. Our "leaders" need to be reminded that the objective of war is to defeat the opposition, beat them until they cry uncle. There is no compromise, fight to win. (that's a period)

Well there goes all that flexibility after his reelection.

U.S. officials said Friday that President Barack Obama may scrap plans to attend an international summit in Russia this summer and could also halt discussions on deepening trade ties with Moscow, raising specific possible consequences if Russia should intervene in Ukraine. Obama himself bluntly warned of unspecified "costs" for Russia. Go ahead Barack spell it out for him! Show him your manly side!

Homophobe definition, a person who fears or hates homosexuals and homosexuality. Druggy, you fit the bill.

So Hill, by your own definition that would make you a Druggyphobe? Good for you drugs, you're now a 'protected class' and have a few extra cards you can play. I'm jealous.

I would consider myself neither a homophobe nor a druggyphobe, as long as neither one costs me any money nor makes me feel threatened in anyway.

'I'm rubber you're glue'.. really Hill. You sounded threatened otherwise why would call someone a 'whatever'-phobe in defense of your position? Homophobe, racist..words who's etymology is changed to mean other than what they were intended to mean. As a result of misuse, they have become meaningless.

wow 'topper such an accusation. I don't hate any group and I'm far from a "homophobe". What you do behind closed doors, I really don't care, "they" want equality and everything else that goes along with normal in an abnormal situation. Even the military still has problems with gender preference issues. Only in America can the issue be "in your face-we demand" -- I'm a little tired of it.

Obama is the most pitiful excuse for a president since Carter. How anyone can support him I don't know - must all live in lala land. I say bomb the sobs and gain us back some respect. Putin figured out Obama long before the American voters did.
