Right now MC 'Officials' cant grab their own...well, you know the rest. Don't give them any ideas right now, they're stuck in 2 dimensional thinking. Wait until Ossenfort and his Crew get out of 'the box' before considering something like this. (Pssst FC, Caroga Lake would be a great place for a Casino).

BoB, it's going to take more than whispering in their ear. They are probably working on 1001 excuses as to why that would be a bad idea. All the people that a place like that would bring to the area spending money ---- just a hassle

I wish you would offer a maybe along with yes and no on your poll questions. I can think of reasons why it would be a great idea and then can think of why it shouldn't come to the area.

rocky1, there is no reason why it shouldn't that wouldn't be addressed by the casino holding company. If they can be attracted to the area, the concerns will be addressed. It is being done all over PA.

I want to know how the state will LOSE money on this idea. Not an if, not even a when, just how are they going to turn this into a taxpayer burden, that is the question.

Sure why not. Then the County can hire more people to over see where to build it at an annual salary of $45K
why not..see what happens and if it's a positive, keep it - if not get rid of it. Way too much time (and money) is always spent on hashing things over...

The thought is that wherever the casino lands, it should be in sight of the NYS Thruway. Put it on the hill outside Canjo overlooking the Thruway, on the exact site that used to be the home of the Holiday Inn sign.
Here is an idea. Lets bet on where it will be. What is the Vegas odds running at ??? Oh NO. It is against the law to gamble in N.Y. UNLESS state approved.
