It's a Hobson's Choice due to the proclivity of government to use any additional monies for very questionable or incorrect reasons. On the other hand, extra monies could be used to balance the budget (shall I laugh now??!!) if used properly.

Absolutely not! Heir Cuomo had taken steps to limit our firearms and ammo, is working on eliminating our freedoms in many other ways. I am ready to step off this progressive cycle and return to sane ways govern.

Drugs...I didn't hit the disagree button, but someone sure didn't waste any time in proving me right....again.

Thanks for providing the opportunity.

If you voted for Cuomo you might as well complete the deal and vote for this scam. Both are designed to destroy upstate. We will not see a nickel as we taxpayers will be expected to fund this mob run operation and the money heads south.

GetAClue, maybe I didn't argue that point because the "spew nonsense" part was an opinion and opinions can never be deemed as wrong. Opinions are like rectums - everybody has one. And even though I'm merely answering a somewhat foolish statement, you will undoubtedly disagree.

'Nuff said

And finally Drugs, before I doevote the rest of my time debating subjects with those others whose brains still function correctly, I notice the only part of my post you DID NOT dispute was "3) I only disagree with postings that spew nonsense. I don't disagree based on who you are like Drugs and TOT do."

Although even if you did dispute that the evidence from the past verify I was correct

Donnie Trump has been pouring money into lobbying efforts to keep this from happening. I'm going to feel really bad for Donnie if the referendum goes through.

The state cannot even make OTB a success - Who ever heard of a bookie not making money? Only NYS can screw that up. Or look at NYRA. Imagine what they will casinos? Why would anyone have faith in the government doing anything? The only thing Govt does it take a simple idea, add 40-50 forms and a new stae bueracracy and make it a complete disaster. VOTE NO!!

This is another money grab. Corruption in NYS is as common as hair on a dog. And it smells as bad as the brown dog droppings lying all over the state (politicians).

The NYRA sham was a smoke and mirror, gestapo type tactic perpetrated by the Governor complete with numerous bogus "charges" so he could put puppets in place and have complete and absolute control. Nothing more.

We already have Casino gambling in NYS. Currently there are 9 Casinos run by Native Americans and 9 Racinos. Are more really necessary?

Of course I will. They should be run by private entities and have minimal regulation.

After all, this is supposed to be a FREE country.

Let's have a outfit like NYRA run the casino's so we have to bail them out of that too. The worst thing was to let NYRA back in since they were always looking for a hand out to operate. It makes sense to have casino's in New York to keep the money in the state that goes out of the state daily to Jersey or Connecticut. Just head to New Jersey and count the buses coming in from New York to gamble there.
