Wow, Gemini and tax tired, it's official you both don't have a clue. There is only one bostonyankee and that be me!!!!! And taxtired "note the disagrees the same number" I don't even know what that means. But if you take your disagrees and add 2, then subtract 5, then divide by 10 and add 2, multiply by 6 to the 2nd power of 100 they equal all of Geminis posts. So that can only mean you are the same morons.WTF. By reading your posts I can't see how anyone can disagree.

disco my last post was not directed at you. To answer your question, the federal government has spent $1.5 million to study why a majority of lesbians are obese (a/k/a heavier) and why gay men are not. Talk about "idiotic"!

TOT: "It found that the freest states tended to be conservative "red" states, while the least free were liberal "blue" states." ... These are also the lowest paying job states, worst health care, lowest education rankings and surprisingly (not) all right-to work states....feel free to move to the "Red Heaven" TOT, we won't miss you at all.

ataxpayer, you aren't in any position to dictate the value of a professional athlete's ability to play a sport. To think they should be paid based on anything else would be socialist of you.

..and it doesn't matter what we want, say, or think, they will do what they want with our money despite the fact that the majority does not agree. Sad to say, but we have become their servants, we work hard and just hand it over so they can renovate stadiums, make crosswalks for lizards, study shrimp on treadmills, and study why lesbians are heavier.

rshweizer "Saying that people who have spent their lives training for a professional sport where the odds of getting in are 1 in a million should be paid as much as blue-collar professionals is pretty socialist to me"..Mark Sanchez signed conract..$58 million plus with a $8 million sign on bonus. He's 25! so possibly 10 years of "hard" training. Is he worth it?

MetLife Stadium is a stadium in the New York Metropolitan Area, part of the MetLife Sports Complex. The stadium, which became the most expensive stadium in the world, is owned by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority on paper; however, the two teams jointly built the stadium using private funds, and administer it through the MetLife Stadium Company.

only in America can the big picture be so shrouded in the smokescreen. the real crime today is how stupid our highly educated citizens are... o.k. i'll spell it out with 1st gradelike lessons.

now class!!!! we have orginizations all over the country getting favors from the fed. don't concentrate on the dollar amounts. just know that these same corperations mostly don't pay fed income tax thanks to the tax code that you smartasess keep voting for. so no matter what. they don't qualify for gvt help. but somehow keep getting it???? yeah I know most of you are backin up against the wall ready to defend you party. (proof of how stupid we all are) trust me when I say. that bypartison bickering. is by design.... they all agree on this. we will fall for anything if they package it right...

Portnoy, It's kind of funny that "liberal" is equated as free and yet the conservative states are more free than the Liberal states.

NY on the decline... I do wonder why... NO NOT REALLY!! Americans are migrating from less-free liberal states to more-free conservative states, where they are doing better economically, according to a new study published Thursday by the George Mason University's Mercatus Center. The "Freedom in the 50 States" study measured economic and personal freedom using a wide range of criteria, including tax rates, government spending and debt, regulatory burdens, and state laws covering land use, union organizing, gun control, education choice and more. It found that the freest states tended to be conservative "red" states, while the least free were liberal "blue" states.

rschweizer, you continue to get me wrong. I posted that we... as the taxpayers make a living... while those that I mentioned make MILLIONS, so why should we... the TAXPAYERS support the MILLIONAIRES? I do hope that this post is more to your level of understanding. As you and I typing to each other detracts from those that do get the "drift"! Also I never said anything about the fairness of the levels of pay between anyone in our taxpayer status but fairness on supporting those that make a fortune... aren't you supposed to want to take their money?? Right up the left wing alley? Or is it some sort of trickle up that you believe is going on?? Can you spell double standard?

This is an academic exercise since King Cuomo II gets the use of a VIP box there courtesy of the NYS taxpayers. You have NO choice and just like the money going to the Tonight Show to reward Cuomo's hollywierd buddies, we have no say. Cuomo makes it clear: PAY UP AND SHUT UP!
