Rocky1, the vehicle has been dropped off in the parking lot. It`s been there for some time. Next, why CAN`T he drive it anymore?? Want to take an educated guess??? I`ll bet it was about something nobody is going to hear about!!! Just like all the other wrongs that he has done that nobody hears about! But they know in Schenectady what it`s all about!!!!!

Rachel: It's a shame that people are not involved more, especially young people like us. I'm not saying go to council meetings and yell and scream like an idiot. That won't work. Attend the meetings, talk to your council people.

You'd be surprised at the # of people that I talked to about voting and their answer was that their vote didn't matter. Their vote may not change who gets elected, but don't complain about things when you (they) don't vote.

RachaelRae, you're right. 25% of Fulton County voters got out and voted.

candlelady, you're right it was harsh. I am sorry for that. If they can, the city should terminate his employment immediately. The rules and laws say he stays until Jan. 1 though. It does not matter what everyone thinks of him. Its just reading all the comments about how, what, when where everything should be done and then seeing that only 25% of the county voted in this election cycle is a little crazy. We are all sitting at our computers monday morning quarter backing about everything from Tim Hughes to President Obama. I wonder how many of us actually went out and voted. How many have ever attended a common council meeting, school board meeting, a town hall meeting, tea party rally, etc....?? I know you and I have but how many others? I just wish there was way to transfer some of the passion and emotion(even the whacko ones,me included) to more of the public. That's why I say we get the gov't we deserve.

Wow, Rachel, that was kinda harsh, don't ya think? I didn't vote for him. The fact that he lost the primary has nothing to do with us wanting him out. He's supposedly been in City Hall late at night shredding documents and has changed the locks to his office and supposedly Clo's office as well. The rumors are flying!

I for one would prefer he not be involved with our next budget.

YES. IF ANY OTHER EMPLOYEE BEHAVED LIKE THIS ESPECIALLY WITH AN INDICTMENT HANGING OVER HIS HEAD WOULD BE TERMINATED.. EVERY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT HAS AN EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK OF SOME SORT. DOESNT CITY GOV'T HAVE SOMETHING. CODE OF CONDUCT, BEHAVORIAL ISSUES. YOU REPRESENT YOUR EMPLOYER EVEN OUTSIDE OF WORK. EXCESSIVE ABSENCES FROM WORK. THERES GOT TO BE SOMETHING IN HIS EMPLOYEE FILE TO WARRANT HIS SUPERIORS FOR HIS TERMINATION OR RESIGNATION .

Yes. It would make lots of sense! Perhaps Mr. Harzinski could escort him out the door - or a few of the others he got rid of. He is a pompous you know what! Smarmy comes to mind.

Make sure he drops off the vehicle that the generous Gloversville taxpayers bought for him or do you think he will use it to make a quick get away?

rachelrae33 - Governor Spitzer had time left in office - he had the common sense to resign.

Aw....he's such a likeable guy with such a great, out-going personality. I saw him escort an old lady across Main St. once and it wasn't heay - she didn't want to go. On scond thought, send him wherever his computer went.

Why? He's still the outgoing Mayor? That makes no sense. Should Gov. Patterson resign next year when and if he loses the primary? He'll still have months left in office even if he loses. Mayor Hughes still has months left to serve whether G'ville likes it or not. You people elected him, you get the gov't you deserve.

Resign? The bum should be physically thrown out the front door of city hall!

If he resigns immediately it will be about three years and two months too late for the City of Gloversville. He has been a total disaster and the sooner gone, the better. IMO he should resign and the Council should appoint the winner of the mayoral election to fill out his term.
