FONDA - Clerk of the County Legislature Cheryl Reese recently completed one week of training at the Cornell Municipal Clerks Institute in Ithaca.
"Training helps employees improve and learn other ways to successfully perform their duties," Montgomery County Executive Matthew Ossenfort said in a news release. "Moving forward, the county will invest in staff development to better serve our residents and to continually improve effectiveness of our operations."
In mid-July, Reese joined other clerks from across New York state and Pennsylvania for the CMCI training to gain knowledge and skills, enhance the administration of their offices and contribute to the professionalism of their municipal governments, the release said.
Reese completed classes such as Demographics and Your Community, Tapping Into Your Community's History and Local Agriculture, and Land Use and Leadership Development. Upon completion, she received a letter confirming her 40 classroom hours towards her CMC Designation, the release said.??
