Eleanor M. Williams, age 99, of Mayfield, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Fulton Center in Gloversville. She was born in Hope Falls, NY on November 18, 1914, the daughter of the late Floyd and Eleanor Porter King. Eleanor attended school in Cranberry Creek. She was employed in housekeeping at Nathan Littauer Hospital for many years.
She married Harold Williams on August 25, 1934, in Wells, NY. He predeceased her on August 18, 1987.
Eleanor loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard and visiting and talking on the phone.

Survivors include her two daughters, Elsie Snell of Gloversville and Lorraine (Thomas) Snell of Mayfield. She is also survived by her three grandsons; five great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband; a son, Ellison Williams; her two brothers, Clifton King and James King; and her son-in-law; Chester Snell.
Friends may call on Friday, May 23, 2014, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Northville Funeral Service, where a funeral will be held at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville.
