Mrs. Hilda M. Matice of Latimer Hill Road, Ames, NY, was born into eternal life on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Born in Sharon Center, on September 3, 1921, she was the daughter of the late George E. Mosher and Katherine Fitzgerald Mosher. She was 92.

A lifelong resident, Hilda graduated from Sharon Springs Central School. She was employed by Beech-Nut in Canajoharie for several years until her retirement. Hilda was a devout Catholic who was a former member of the St. Peter's and Paul's Church in Canajoharie and its Altar Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Ames Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

Hilda truly enjoyed life and loved living in Ames. She was proud to have lived in her home independently and was often seen walking to the Ames Store to spend time with her neighbors. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
