JOHNSTOWN - The Johnstown USBC WBA city tournament took place from April 26 through May 1 at Arterial Lanes.
The Late Risers team with a score of 2,830 captured the title in the team division, with members Kris Pennick, Dawn Boyd, Gail Dunlap and Karen Mault. They were followed by Hot Mamas, We Still Heart Bowling, Rockin Ladies, the Doctor's Girls and Sowle's Souls completing the top six.
Stacey Wilson and Jess Wilson won the doubles division with a total of 1,439. Other winners in the doubles were Fraker/H. Meher, Lobdell/Pettit, Houghtaling/Becker, Hulbert/Warner, Gardner/Dutcher, Hastie/Stuart, Meyer/Hill, Pennick/Boyd, Jones/Boyd, Valik/J. Hayner and Cole/Dingman.
The singles winner was Liz Kadle with a score of 764, followed by Jean Bartholf, Tammy Thackrah, Jeannie Jennings, Megan Hayner, Tasha Hastie, Gail Dunlap, Kris Pennick, Sally Borden, Violet Leighton, Ronnie Luft, Morgan Vandeusen, Heidi Meher, Kayla Ellis, Beth Fraker, Gloria Kimball, Marion Sands, Mona Cole, Kay Lehr, Jess Wilson, Stacey Wilson and Carla Pettit.
The all-event title was won by Kris Pennick, who scored 2,158, with other winners Tammy Thackrah, Jess Wilson, Tasha Hastie, Kay Lehr, Stacey Wilson, Liz Kadle, Violet Leighton, Gail Dunlap, Gloria Kimball, Carla Pettit, Heidi Meher and MaryEllen Cromer.
Money and trophies can be picked up at the city banquet May 21 at Arterial Lanes at 6:30 p.m.
The deadline to sign up for the banquet is May 14.
Those who are unable to attend the banquet may pick up their prizes at the city association meeting June 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Perry Lanes.
