Myron Cromer Jr., 74, of Gloversville, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 16, 2014.
Born July 3, 1939, in Johnstown, NY, he was a son of the late Myron and Olive Horning Cromer Sr.
Myron was educated in the Broadalbin School District. He worked as a self-employed contractor throughout the area for many years. Myron enjoyed drawing and collecting matchbox and model antique cars. Earlier in life he enjoyed being active in 4-H with his daughters.
Survivors include three daughters, Coleen Rumrill of Johnstown, Cathleen Lechareas of Virgina and Christine Etherton of Gloversville; two brothers, Ronald Cromer (Bonnie) of Gloversville and Michael Cromer (Sandy) of California; and his twin sister, Marion Pellegrino (Victor) of Gloversville. Myron also is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Cromer; and a sister, Delores Cole; as well as his great-grandson, Johnathan Blaney.
There will be no calling hours. Private urn burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville.
