WATERTOWN - The Fulton-Montgomery Community College baseball team won both ends of its doubleheader against Jefferson Community College on Thursday at Duffy Fairgrounds.
The Raiders won the first game, 4-1, and the second game, 7-4, in 10 innings.
In the first game, sophomore pitcher Dennis Buckley (Colonie) struck out nine and allowed just two hits to earn the complete-game victory.
Greg Ruddy (Troy) was 2-for-3 for the Raiders, while Kristjan Maksuti (Delmar) was 1-for-3. Catcher Andrew Houser (Wynantskill) had two RBIs for FMCC.
In the second game, Buckley had a two-run double in the top of the 10th for FMCC and finished 2-for-4.
Chris Rockefeller (Gloversville) was 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Raiders, while Jason Roth (Johnstown) was 1-for-4 with a double to tie the game in the sixth.
FMCC (10-11 overall, 6-2 Region III) will host Jefferson (6-11 overall) in a doubleheader today at 2 p.m.
