Lynne M. Shaut

Lynne M. Shaut, 63, of Oppenheim, NY, passed away early Thursday morning, March 27, 2014, at Valley Health Services in Herkimer, NY after a long illness, with her loving family by her side.

Lynne was born on February 14, 1951, in Little Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Arden "Bucky" and Alice (Plato) Burton. She was educated at Dolgeville Central School. At one time, she was married to Raymond Shaut. For the past 20 years, Lynne shared a blessed union with Scott Youker.

She was formerly employed as a supervisor at Lee Dye in Gloversville, NY, and retired after 25 years of service. Lynne was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed camping on Powley Road, reading, and most importantly, spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Lynne is survived by her beloved fiance, Scott Youker of Oppenheim; her loving children, Ray Shaut Jr. of Oppenheim, Stacey Ortlieb and her husband, Rich, of Oppenehim, James Siver of Salisbury, and Nicole Youker of Salisbury; cherished grandchildren, Amanda Ortlieb and her companion, Matthew Peets, of Oppenheim, Andrew Ortlieb of Oppenheim, Cayden Shaut of St. Johnsville and Kenidee Oare of St. Johnsville; special siblings, Dorann "Deb" Spofford of Salisbury, John Burton Sr. and his wife, Kathie, of Stratford, and Christine Egan and her husband, Arthur, of Salisbury; her best friend, Bonnie Mamrosh, of Dolgeville; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a sister, Susan Moshier, on March 24, 2014.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Miller-Plonka Funeral Home, 30 Wolf Street, Dolgeville, New York. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Lynn R. Lockwood officiating. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Northville, NY, where she will be interred with her parents.
