Mrs. Sharon A. Eagan, age 64, of Gloversville, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Fulton Center for Rehabilitation and Health Care, Gloversville, following a long illness.
She was born January 8, 1950, in Amsterdam, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Buyce Myers. She was employed by Tic-Tac-Toes Mfg. Corp. of Gloversville.
Sharon enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her companion, Warren "Norge" Pollock of Gloversville; three children, Deborah A. Eagan (Gerald Parker) of Painesville, Ohio, and Charles Eagan and Thomas Eagan of Gloversville; a brother, Frank "Rick" Myers of Gloversville; a stepbrother, Howard Hayes; six grandchildren: Nicole Murray, Tiffany Murray, Miranda Eagan, Briana Eagan, Kendra Eagan and Dale Eagan; her stepfather, William Blaney; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Eagan, in 2001.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
Interment will take place at a later date at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
