Jeffrey D. Christman, age 45, of Ephratah, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at home.
Born on August 20, 1968, in Little Falls, he was the son of Alexander Christman and Joanne Jennings Christman, who survive from Ephratah.
Jeffrey was a 1987 graduate of the Oppenheim-Ephratah Central School.
Mr. Christman was employed as an equipment operator by the town of Ephratah Highway Department for twenty years.
He attended the Ephratah Reformed Church and was member of the Safari Club International and the Oppenheim Trail Blazers. Jeffrey was also an avid hunter.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Brenda Dygert Christman, whom he married on September 18, 1993; two sons, Robert Christman and Colby Christman; one brother, Jason (Christine) Christman of Dolgeville; one sister, Christine (Scott) Zapotocki of Delanson; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, at the A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, March 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Spring interment will be in the Ephratah Rural Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Ephratah Volunteer Fire Department.
