GLOVERSVILLE - HealthLink Littauer, the community health and wellness service of Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home, recently announced a series of "Childbirth Preparation Classes" will begin March 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. in The Birthing Center At Littauer, 99 E. State St.

"These classes prepare expectant parents mentally and physically for the childbirth experience," Crystal O'Connor, certified childbirth educator of the Birthing Center, said in a news release. "Topics include what to expect in late pregnancy, breathing and relaxation techniques, labor and delivery, newborn care, feeding options, adjustment to parenthood and more. We'll also take a tour of Littauer's Birthing Center."

Classes will meet once each week for three weeks, ending March 19. There will be a $45 fee per couple that includes all three classes (scholarships are available for those in need).

To attend, call HealthLink Littauer at 736-1120.
