Noreen ‘MiMi’ Williams

Mrs. Noreen "MiMi" Williams, age 64, of Fonda, NY, died Sunday evening, February 23, 2014, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. She was well-loved by her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

She was born September 7, 1949, in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Mullen Lindberg. A resident of the New York City area for most of her life, she received a batchelor's degree in psychology from Fulton-Montgomery Community College.

MiMi was employed as a cook at the Getman Memorial Home of Gloversville, as a certified nursed assistant at Dawncrest Nursing Home, Fultonville and at Palatine Nursing Home, Palatine Bridge.

She was married on September 6, 1997, to Henry E. William Jr. He died March 29, 2001.

Survivors include her brother, Ralph E. Lindberg of Alabama; and a niece. Her dear friend and caregiver, Julie R. Dutcher, resides in Fonda.

There will be no calling hours. Private burial will take place beside her husband at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St., Gloversville.
