JOHNSTOWN - A Bleeker man was arrested by city police Tuesday after it was determined he was responsible for striking a man and stealing his wallet earlier this month, police said.

Bruno A. Daniels, 30, of 1066 Route 309, Bleeker, was charged with third-degree robbery, petit larceny and second-degree harassment.

Police said Daniels allegedly struck a victim in the head and took him to the ground before taking the victim's wallet from his back pocket and fleeing the scene Feb. 7 in the area of North Perry Street and Snyder Avenue.

He was sent to the Fulton County Jail with bail set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond.
