BROADALBIN - A teen at Broadalbin-Perth High School was arrested Feb. 6 after he was found on campus with a bag of pills, police said.

Logan M. Ryder, 16, of Northville, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors; and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

State police said after an incident was reported by school officials at the high school, Ryder was found to have a bag in his pocket, which contained pills.

He was sent to the Fulton County Jail on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Village Court in March.
