Lynn Grandy Butler

Tribes Hill resident Lynn Grandy Butler went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. By her side was her devoted husband, Gary Butler; lifetime friend, Barb Sanders; and her second cousin, Kathy Keeler Guzman, originally from Galway.

Her homegoing was peaceful after a long bout with cancer and a bone marrow transplant last year.

Born in 1948, the daughter of George and Nellie Frasier Grandy of Canajoharie, Lynn is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Gary H. Butler; her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grandy of Canajoharie, who were like second parents to her; two brothers-in-law, Alan and James Butler; one nephew; six nieces; seven grandnieces; and two grandnephews; and may cousins throughout the United States.

There will be no memorial service but a brief service at the graveside, date to be announced.
