GLOVERSVILLE - The seniors on the Gloversville boys basketball team made their final home court appearance a memorable one.
Led by double-digit scoring from Keyshawn Arnold, Barceem Dukes and Asa Barnhill, who combined for 51 points, the Dragons overpowered South Glens Falls to close out the regular season with a 74-48 victory Tuesday night at Gloversville High School.
Gloversville finished the regular season with a 14-4 overall record, while going 11-3 against Foothills Council competition to finish second in the league behind unbeaten Scotia-Glenville (14-0).

With the regular season over, the Dragons will wait for the results of today's seeding meeting before entering the Section II Class A tournament.
"The kids played hard all season, just a couple games got away from us," Gloversville coach Mark LeFever said. "I think we will get the third seed based on our record and the teams that are going in Class A. We should get a first-round bye, so we will have a little bit of a break. We'll use it to work on things to prepare for whoever we play."
South High (2-12 Foothills) shocked Gloversville early, jumping out to an 8-2 lead midway through the open period.
The Dragons then found a rhythm behind the perimeter shooting of Arnold, who hit three 3-pointers in the final three minutes of the period to help Gloversville close out the opening quarter with a 17-12 lead.
Gloversville kept its momentum going in the second quarter, using a high-intensity press in the later stages to force three turnovers, which they converted into easy lay ups in a 9-0 run to close out the first half with a 34-22 lead.
"We played hard in spurts," LeFever said. "I got a little upset early on because we were going one pass, shot; one pass, shot. Then, unless it was a fast-break, we pulled the ball back out and moved the ball to get the better shot."
The Bulldogs made a slight move early in the third period, outscoring Gloversville 5-2, but the Dragons again picked up their defensive pressure to close out the quarter with a 26-5 run to carry a 62-32 lead into the final eight minutes of play.
Salem Alikhan came off the bench to lead the Dragons' scoring in the final period with four points and Spencer Satterlee connected for a 3-pointer to help close out the 74-48 Foothills Council victory.
Arnold paced the Gloversville scoring with his 19-point, seven-rebound performance that included five 3-pointers. Barnhill finished with 17 points, three steals and six assists, while Dukes contributed 15 points and 17 rebounds, 14 of which came in the first half. Hunter Goodwin pulled down eight rebounds to go with six points.
Tyler Greenlaw led the South Glens Falls scorers with 13 points, while Travis Ramsey hit for 10 points and pulled down six rebounds.
In a pre-game ceremony, Gloversville honored its senior players, Arnold, Barnhill, Dukes, Goodwin, Alikhan, Satterlee, James Scholl, Tristan Suchy, John Robinson and Tyrell Robinson-Glass, as well as LeFever, who announced he will retire at the end of the season.
"It was a little emotional at the start of the game," LeFever said "It was special for the kids and for me. It has been fun working with them. Hopefully we'll have a couple more weeks to work together."
