SCHENECTADY - Jimmy Marshall finished with a six-game total of 1,230, leading Johnstown to the team title at the Section II Class B bowling championship Monday at Boulevard Bowl.
Marshall rolled a 580 series with a high game of 217 in the morning session before posting a 254-650 series in the afternoon session for the Sir Bills, who won their first sectional title. Marshall's 254 game was the high game of the day.
Morgan Ruggeri posted a 203-583 in the morning and a 205-595 in the afternoon to finish with a total of 1,178 for Johnstown, while Ben Empie posted a total of 1,121. Empie had a 182-548 in the morning and a 203-573 in the afternoon for Johnstown, which also won the Foothills Council regular-season and tournament titles.

Jay Hadcock added a six-game total of 1,078 for Johnstown, including a 190-529 in the morning and a 201-549 in the afternoon.
Alyssa Hadcock and Josh Fuller also competed for Johnstown.
Hudson Falls finished second in the team standings with a total of 5,484, while Lansingburgh was third with a 5,469.
Lansingburgh's Nick Pondillo (681) finished with the day's high three-game series, while Schalmont's Alex Matuszak earned a place on the Section II state tournament team with a six-game total of 1,288.
