Marjorie Anne Murray, 71, a resident of Flippin, Arkansas, formerly of Caroga Lake, New York, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born April 14, 1942, in Mayfield, New York, to the late Martin Sr. and Dorothy Smith. Marjorie loved traveling the southern United States, riding ATVs, camping, country music, her beloved cat, Pretty Baby and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Harry Travis; sister-in-law, Carolyn Smith; brother-in-law, Richard Blowers.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James E. Murray of Flippin; five sons and two daughters-in-law: Kevin and Patricia Murray of Oppenheim, New York, Jack Murray, Alan Murray, Russell and Lena Murray and Marty Murray, all of Flippin; a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Haynes of Jordan; a brother, Martin Smith Jr. of New York; a sister, Francis Blowers of New York; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
