Man in country illegally: deputies

BLEECKER - The Fulton?County?Sheriff's Office said a person who is in the United States illegally was arrested Monday on drinking and driving charges in the town.

Deputies said Antonio Sanchez-Flores, 42, no address given, was charged at 10:10 a.m. with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than or equal to 0.08 percent and driving without a license.

Deputies said he was operating a 2004 Hummer H3 on Lily Lake Road and was charged after a vehicle complaint. Sanchez-Flores was stopped and found to be intoxicated. Deputies said he was driving without a license and was found to be in the United States illegally.

He was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the county jail in lieu of $500 cash bail. A U.S. Department of Homeland Security immigration detainer was placed on him.
